Lesson 2 | Warm Up

Before beginning any painting session, I highly recommend taking the time to do a warm up. This helps loosen up your hands and get you in the “zone.” My warmups usually involve working with the “wet on wet” method, which is a playful and fluid technique that allows the paint to move freely.

As you settle in to your own warmup, don’t worry about the end result. Simply use it as an opportunity to play, relax, and settle into your time with the paint.

I encourage you not to rush this process. Turn on some relaxing music, and take all the time you need.
