This workshop will take a fresh look at painting botanicals. We will see how the water works to create a wide range of values within a very limited palette while learning how to paint a range of botanical forms. By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a lovely black and white botanical portrait of your own!

My workshops are designed for the total beginner, so if you've never painted before, you're in the right place. The first part of the workshop will be dedicated to learning basic watercolor technique, from mixing color to using your paintbrush. We will then dive into learning specific strokes that will help you paint the botanical shapes. 

Included in the cost of the workshop is a watercolor kit and supply list (so you don't have any excuse not to practice when you get home), as well as some light snacks. After the workshop, the May We Fly Studio Shop will be open and all participants will have an opportunity to shop for 15% off.
