ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This beginner-level online watercolor workshop will cover a variety of foundational watercolor techniques. While following Leana’s step-by-step instructions, you will learn how to mix color, create a variety of brushstrokes, and paint leaves, ferns, coneflowers, goldenrod, and daisies.

Supplies

First of all, if you already have some paints and brushes at home, great! Having the “exact” supplies is not at all necessary to successfully go through this workshop.

However, if you don’t have any supplies at home or would like to add to your supply box, below is a list to the exact supplies we’ll be using, along with several purchasing options.

I also keep these supplies in stock, so if you’d prefer to purchase them here, simply click on the “Watercolor Starter Kit” button to learn more.

Is this workshop kid-friendly?

Yes! This beginner-level class is wonderful for all ages. I would absolutely encourage you to do this workshop with your kids if you think it’s something they’d enjoy!

What supplies do i need?

You will need watercolor paper, 2-3 round brushes, watercolor paint, paper towels, and water. The full list of the exact supplies I’ll be using can be found here. However, if you have painting supplies at home, by all means, use those!

Is watercolor messy?

One wonderful thing about watercolor painting is that it is fairly mess-free. You may want to protect your painting surface with paper or plastic, but watercolor paint doesn’t stain and wipes up very easily.

can i share this course?

You are more than welcome to share this course with anyone at home, but I ask that you please not distribute it elsewhere. Thank you!
